IECEx COPC Awareness Training, Assessment & Pressurized Welding Habitat Training
Clear Water Services collaborated with Hibiscus Petroleum and SIRIM STS to offer an intensive IECEx Unit 000: Fundamental Knowledge and Awareness for Accessing Sites with Classified Hazardous Areas and Pressurized Welding Habitat Training & Assessment Program at our Kemaman Branch, attracting 110 enthusiastic participants eager to enhance their skills in Pressurized Welding Habitat. Spanning 7 sessions held from January to March 2024, participants gained hands-on experience, assessment, and theoretical knowledge essential for safe and effective welding in pressurized environments
The objective of the “Basic Knowledge and Awareness to Enter a Site that includes a Classified Hazardous Area” and Pressurized Welding Habitat training and assessment program is to equip participants with essential skills and understanding necessary for safe entry and operation within classified hazardous areas. Participants will gain proficiency in identifying and mitigating risks associated with such environments. Additionally, they will receive specialized training and assessment in pressurized welding techniques, preparing them to effectively perform welding tasks in challenging conditions. The program aims to ensure that participants are well-prepared, knowledgeable, and capable of adhering to strict safety protocols while carrying out their duties in hazardous and pressurized settings.
